Your sequencer has just gone Asian! SwarPlug (or Swar Plug) is the most integrated way of adding tracks of Indian instruments in your compositions. It combines both 74 virtual Indian instruments in VSTi/AU technology and a Librarian to browse and select among a collection of over 1000 MIDI loops from the Indian classical and folkloric repertoire.

VSTi & Audio Units plugins

VSTi and AU plugins of 74 Indian instruments, sampled with state-of-the-art equipment from renowned professional musicians. SwarPlug is built on the much acclaimed CronoX 2 sampler engine from LinPlug (24 voice polyphonic, real-time pitch bend and expression, etc...).

Librarian software

This Librarian software allows you to browse a collection of over 1000 MIDI loops of rhythms/melodies from the Indian classical/folkloric repertoire and paste them onto your favorite sequencer.

Non-VST or AU sequencers

If your sequencer does not support VST2 nor Audio Units plugins, you can still use SwarPlug through an appropriate wrapper. We are listing several in our online shop, under Music Software section, VST adapters.

Volume 1

Volume 1 was the first volume to be featured on all our products. It contains the main instruments used for classical music in North India, as well as some popular folk instruments.

Volume 2
Volume 2 is a very exciting volume containing mainly folk instruments from North India. The addition of Dhol and Tumbi makes it the perfect tool for composing Bhangra tunes!

Volume 3
Volume 3 (previously South 1) is our first set of instruments used in South India, which open the door to the intricacies of the very different Carnatic tradition.

 Volume 4 
Volume 4 is our latest addition of rare instru-ments from all regions of India. Some of them are very difficult to find nowadays.
